[PCWorks] 64 Bit Laptop And Serial Port

I have a speech synthesizer that is a serial port device.

I saw an HP EliteBook 8560P laptop with Windows 7 that is a
64 bit machine and has a serial port.

Is there a reason why my synthesizer wouldn't work on this
laptop?

I guess I'm mainly wondering about a 64 bit computer and how
it might utilize the serial port, perhaps differently than
previous 32 and 16 bit computers.

Thanks,

Tom
