My laptop was fine.
I put on the windows updates and clicked re-start when it
asked.

I got a blue screen - I think I made some mistakes....
but -
it said something about bios and stuff and if it was the
first blue screen to restart.
restarted - another blue screen - said to start in safe mode
started safe mode - one potential problem listed was hard
drive was just too full.
That was a real possibility - so I chose safe mode instead
of last known time to use system restore. I had 7 gigs of
free space. not a lot - but enough that it should have
booted. so I am moving files off of it now to get more
space. I needed to do that anyway. It also mentioned any new
software - I hadn't thought of windows update at that
particular moment... duh
so here I sit in safe mode - and have NO clue what to do to
try to do to fix it - or how to get back to a choice of
system restore.

Thoughts? I am attached to my laptop at the hip - so I need
to get her up and running asap or I will be in a total panic
mode.

Thanks!!!
