Hi Jo Ann,
I use Windows XP.
I just click and hold on the address icon in the browser
Address bar and drag it to my desktop
I then have a shortcut which I can right click on and
change the name of.

I have 'Quick Launch Toolbar' enabled on the bottom of my desktop.
(next to the "Start" button)
I just drag the shortcuts into my "Quick Launch"
area to keep my desktop clean.

To get to the Toolbars right click on a blank spot on
the lower toolbar between the Start and Clock.

IHTH
