It's very odd that you should get a warning about a file that doesn't seem to exist. The only thing I can figure is that AdAware or some other anti-malware app removed it. I just hope it wasn't a proper file that may be needed later. Whenever any type of warning comes up, grab a pen and write down all of the info it gives you. Developing this habit will go a LONG way towards helping anyone who is trying to help you. :O) Peace, Gman "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Patti or Ken" <patken@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, July 19, 2008 7:58 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: axdist.exe > Gman > Thanks for your reply. > I have XPProfessional 2002 with Service Pack 2. > A search of my PC tells me axdist.exe is not found! > I will keep an eye on Ad Watch more carefully and make sure I get more > details if I see this warning again. > I can't remember what I was doing when I got the warning (Gosh!
