Terry, I have been using Download Accelerator Plus for at least 2 years and
have never had a problem. It has the "resume" feature you're talking about.
You can find it at www.speedbit.com, also ZDNET or CNET, it's a free download
called DAP--Glo

Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Timeouts on file downloads

  Hi everybody,
As I've said before, my internet connection is extremely!
slow. I've been trying to download a 4.48 MB file and "the
connection with the server" keeps getting "reset". (est.
time left to download will be about an hour or more). Does
anyone know of a good, easy to use, download manager that
will reconnect and resume the download for me? I've tried
Fresh Download, but I seem to need the exact URL that the
download is coming from and I can't figure that out.

  TIA
  Terry
