No you cannot use a stylus. It does not have a touch screen.
Sounds like you may want a tablet or possibly a Nook. You can go to Barnes
and Noble and they will show you all about the Nook.

Cindy,

With the Touch can you use a stylus and write on the screen to create
little notes such as a sticky? Will it store the note as handwritten or does
it convert it to typewritten text? I want to be able to take notes about
the equipment I use in the gym and the various weight and position settings
used.

I'm leaning towards a larger screen so I can use it to read
books/magazines/email and also use it for listening to music, the radio or in
the gym
listening to TV as I watch from the treadmill.

Don

I have an Ipod Touch. If I can help you let me know. I also have the Nook
color that has internet. I am not a big fan of the touch screen. I think
it's hard to touch the right thing if the screen is too small. On the
Nook you
can flick your fingers and make the screen bigger which is nice.
