I am in the process of reinstalling Java. I have ver 6. I d/l last night, but as soon as I rebooted it was as if I never installed. You'll find this info by opening up the Add/Remove applet in Control Panel and scrolling down until you reach the J's. It may be telling you that a Java cleanup is in order if you haven't done that yet or for a while since Windows was installed.
