Already had tried that.  Also spent a long time in chat mode with 
Yahoo.  What a bunch of Yokels.

When I moved over to my laptop, email seemed to worked fine.  Except 
that the error has caused so much mail to accumulate at Yahoo that my 
computer balks at the long list of messages.

This problem keeps coming back over and over again.  Don't know why.
