If you are worried enough about security to want to run two security
programs then maybe the first thing you should do is go to the windows
update site and upgrade your IE and OE to the latest versions, and get all
the available security patches!

I have also heard that running two firewalls/antivirus programs can lead to
conflicts. But I imagine that if only one antivirus program is running in
the background and the other one kept as a back up and just used for manual
scans you should be ok.

Personally, I just run Norton, but also run various web based virus scanners
to double check.
