I've sold items on eBay that I've gotten on a rebate. But, I have =
specifically indicated so in the description. I see no problem in it, as =
long as the seller doesn't try to be deceptive in any way.

I wish I were involved in eBay many years ago, when people were getting =
away with selling worn underwear! Hehe...

You don't.  That's why I would not buy "used" software.  Also, if the=20
description says the UPC code has been removed, the seller collected a=20
rebate and is now selling the software.... very questionable in my =
opinion.
