I did something silly... I inadvertantly ticked on the "do not
ask..." box in the open/save window when downloading. Lil

Think this is what you want in IE:
Click Tools
Click Options
Click Security Tab
Make sure Internet is highlighted
Click Custom
Scroll down until you see Downloads
Under Automatic prompting for downloads
Click Enable
Click OK twice
This should bring up your prompt again.
