When I first got my 20MB HD I started to run Thorough on the Scandisk and after
a long time I hit stop, The computer froze and I couldn't get back to the
drive, it wouldn't see it on start up or anywhere. I had to go to IBM site and
download a fix it program, would have lost everything on the disk, luck there
wasn't on it yet. I have been afraid to run Scandisk in Thorough again.
Sincerely Yours,
Hank

I found with Thorough it would take about 3 hours , with Standard about
25 minutes. I have ME. But I do it in Safe Mode now Off Line ,
forget how long it takes this way. Lionel.
