There are 3 ways out of this town. The most used is the South bound exit to
the rest of the valley. At THIS point everything is well away from here and
the Morongo fire is now 30% contained and damage done is up the canyon into
the valley of Morongo, not burning this way and they are letting vehicles up
the highway with Highway patrol escort so things are looking up for the
closest fire. The others unless the wind really comes and switches are of
no concern, other than the damage being done where they are.

  | News stories about the fire. My guess was spot on.....it is in
  | the Tonto National Forest, and is less than two miles from the
  | house!! Tonto Hills Subdivision is directly behind and slightly
  | East of our home, less than a quarter mile away.
  | For Bashful Bob, this would be NE of Pima and Cave Creek.

  | There is another major fire about 12 miles east, at I-17, north
  | of carefree Highway. This is getting UGLY!!

  | If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties?
  | How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose
  | around your neck?
