I have a bunch of friends who swear by panda. They had Norton before.
I still have norton -
I understand that the norton 2004 is much better. I haven't put that on yet.
Mine doesn't expire until April.
AVG is a great free anti-virus. That's what my son uses.

I tried panda once before and it REALLY slowed down everything. Worse than
Norton ever did. I downloade the trial free part. Unless it's changed........

I would recommend Panda Anti-virus. Not only is it a good AV product it
also has a rules-based firewall built-in.

I started having problems with Norton slowing my systems here at the =
house
down, so I switched mine to Panda and stayed with it for about a month =
to
make sure I liked it, and then placed it on the other two. (Panda =
provided
a free copy and license to put it on all the PCs I use for my work, as I
build systems and repair).

I recommend this AV whole-heartedly as I have had no problems with it, =
and
it has been running trouble free for almost a year now. And it's well =
worth
the price (I've had several of my clients switch over to it who were =
sick of
Norton's slowing or erroring out on their systems).
