my norton 2003 has 'some quirks' and friends that have it have different
problems. mine rarely updates itself, and I can't scan incoming e-mail. A
friend - I was just at her house, hers doesn't start up when she re-boots - she
has to manually start it. but I heard that 2004 has worked out a lot of those
bugs. I hope so!!
I re-installed mine about a month ago because it stopped doing its nightly scan.
it was a pain to have to scan it manually all of the time. re-installing fixed
that.
I think there are a bunch of decent anti-virus vendors out there!

I started having problems with Norton..I was using 2003. I reinstalled twice
and it still caused problems so I dumped..and went to AVG...no more error notes.
Or problems.

I have a bunch of friends who swear by panda. They had Norton before.
I still have norton -
I understand that the norton 2004 is much better. I haven't put that on yet.
Mine doesn't expire until April.
AVG is a great free anti-virus. That's what my son uses.
