Myhard drive is partitioned into 2 drives. Drive C: is the boot drive (of course) and using the computer management>Disk Management tool I want to exted it from 80GB to 180GB. Drive D was shrunk by 100 GB and I now have about 100GB of space available to extend C: with. When I right click on drive C: the Extend Volume option is greyed out and not accessible. Within the Disk Management tool drive C: and space I want to use to extend it are identified as follows: Drive C: Simple Basic NTFS Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary partition Space: 97.66 GB Free Space What do I need to do to extend drive C:? --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
