It could be running in a resolution/number of colors that your card
or monitor don't support. I had old Dos games that did that.

  Subject: [pchelpers] game

  Hi guys,
I downloaded a game the other night called Bejeweled. Everything went A-ok.
After installation, I opened it to find my screen all rippley. The game was
on. I could sort of make out some text (instructions) and I could hear the
music, but I had no taskbar, so had to get out the wrong way. Hate that blue
screen.

I've never had this problem. what do you think is the matter.

Good advice is like good paint- it only works if applied.
