Cliff,

This is with XP.

Start/ Control Panel/Sounds&Audio Devices/ Audio Devices. XP opened with the
Volume Tab.It has two check boxes, one for mute, the other for "Place Volume
Icon on Task Bar" On this same panel, there is a button, "Advanced". Click
it and I find "mute" and "volume" for Playback, Wave/MP3, CD Audio, Midi,
Microphone and Line-In.

Hope this helps if your using XP
