Don, if any of those suggestions work please let us know because I don't
believe they will, but I haven't tried it; but it doesn't sound reasonable.
You have to have a scanner that has a light in the lid or at least on top to
do film or a slide.  Without the light you are not going to get the colors
so no amount of reversing is going to do anything, IMHO.  Slide/film
scanners are very reasonable now and a lot cheaper than Photoshop.
