The "gay m arriage" fight here in the US is going terribly (more on that
below). But activists in countries around the world continue to look to
MassResistance for help and advice. In particular, our eye-opening video
"What 'gay marriage' did to Massachusetts" has been used in more
countries than we can remember. (In fact, the video was originally
created to aid the marriage fight in Australia

The MassResistance video "What 'gay marriage' did to Massachusetts"
has been used by activists across the USA and around the world.

This week we were contacted by a pastor in Madrid, Spain who told us
that the MassResistance video has come to Spain is helping him and
others educate their churches. He told us, "I was glad and am still glad
to watch this!"
We are going to work with him to get Spanish versions of our materials.
** MassResistance marriage video televised nationwide in Finland

In Finland on Tuesday, May 27, the video was televised nationally.
Pro-marriage activists had created a special Finnish version, and it has
been a big hit there.
Here's what a Finnish activist told us afterwards:
The broadcast was well done and just right in time. It is also now
in archive and the impact of this video is felt throughout the whole
country. Already something is taking place -- many have woken up to
see the truth and serious consequence of that ungodly legislation.
Thank for providing that video!
Near future it will be available also in Sweden and Estonia. We all

Last Thursday, a prominent Hong Kong TV station broadcast key parts of
the *Cantonese version of the MassResistance video* as part of a special
program to inform people about the consequences of "gay marriage."
** MassResistance featured in Al-Jazeera on marriage fight in US

No, we're not partnering with the Muslim Brotherhood. But Al-Jazeera,
the huge international Muslim media empire, called our office (from
Qatar, it appeared), so we talked to them.
Al-Jazeera was preparing an article "How gay marriage is winning America
- Unthinkable just a few decades ago, same-sex marriage is now supported
by more than half of Americans. Why?"

MassResistance often seen as is one of the few groups willing to "tell
it like it is" in the marriage fight. So we've been showing up in some
interesting places.

They had been following our news and analysis on the "gay marriage"
issue and wanted to include our perspective. The unbelievable situation
right now in the US, with activist judges overturning a state
constitutional protections almost weekly, made it particularly timely.
From their article:
Meanwhile, as the idea of gay marriage has become increasingly
mainstream in the US, opponents speak of being sidelined from the
public discourse, hampering their ability to win over minds.
"The media has closed ranks on the pro-family movement," said Brian
Camenker, who leads Mass Resistance, a Massachusetts-based group
that opposes gay marriage. "They've basically decided that the case
is closed, and that anybody who differs on the issue at all is an
extremist."
. . . One sign of the shifting tides: Whereas the amount of money
spent by supporters and opponents of Proposition 8 was about even,
in 2012 supporters of gay marriage initiatives outspent their rivals
nearly three-to-one. Many of America's super-rich - especially those
in the tech industry - have been generous donors supporting same-sex
marriage. Meanwhile, once-big funders of gay marriage bans like the
Mormon Church appear to have become less vocal on the issue.
"You simply can't fight this thing when you're being out-funded like
100-1, and every major company gives enormous amounts of money to
the other side," said Camenker.
*Interestingly, our bigger point,* which the article didn't include, is
that the mainstream pro-family movement still refuses to use the most
effective and explosive arguments because of their fear of offending the
left. This crippled us in the US Supreme Court and continues to do
untold damage in court cases.
*We also dispute* Al-Jazeera's statement that "more than half" of the
country supports it. If that were the case, there would be referendum
elections for "gay marriage" popping up everywhere. But we're not seeing
any. Instead, it's being pushed through the courts.
*For the record,* we believe that the great surge in the "gay" marriage
movement is artificial. It's a massive house of cards supported by a
well-executed combination of enormous money spent, brilliant use of the
media, large-scale psychological manipulation techniques, and militant
intimidation that has rarely been seen before in America. Without that,
the whole absurd concept of "gay marriage" would not survive.

This past Memorial Day weekend, our recent emails on the GLSEN
conference

and their plans for an even bigger homosexual / transgender agenda in
the schools, have really energized people to get involved.
Just one of the things that MassResistance is uncovering. The
homosexual movement is pushing this in high schools and middle schools
across America.
Helping kids be "safe" at school is the Orwellian term for aggressively
enforcing pro-"LGBT" sexual ideology -- and suppressing all dissent.
Will groups like us be able to continue exposing this?
And that's just a fraction of what we have in the hopper. /It's really
worse than most people can imagine./
But with limited finances, it's taking us longer to publish all the
shocking information we have uncovered. *
A supporter of ours in the Midwest, a 90-year-old proud World War II
veteran, gave us a challenge.* Between May 25 (Memorial Day) and June 6
(D-Day), he how many people can we persuade to donate to MassResistance:
50 people? 100? More? He said it makes him sad to see what we're
reporting, and he wishes more of his buddies were around to help us.
Most of the older "greatest generation" gets it. But now it's up to the
current generations.

The *economics of fighting this fight* have changed drastically in just
the last few years. That's why *regular people like you* are so vitally
important.
*Here's a prominent example of what we're talking about.* As most of you
know by now, the *president of Chick-fil-A, Dan Cathy,* recently
announced that his company would no longer donate to pro-family groups
opposing "gay marriage" or the homosexual agenda in the schools. Such
donations were a "bad business decision," he said. Instead, he has
instituted an outlandish sexual-orientation and "gender identity"
non-discrimination policy in all his restaurants. And he started meeting
with college homosexual activists to find "common ground."
*The president of Chick-fil-A is now the rule, not the exception.* We
personally know many wealthy conservative businessmen who tell us
privately that they really love what we're doing, but they can no longer
risk being caught supporting this cause. It would be "bad for business."
So they cave in.
They saw what happened to big donors to Proposition 8, to Brendan Eich,
CEO of Mozilla, and do dozens of smaller businesses across the country
that crossed the "gay" lobby. They're willing to let the homosexual
movement have its way as long as they're safe (for now).
*We hear this confirmed* by front-line pro-family activists across
America. Thus, the burden of support of this struggle now *falls to the
average person,* not the millionaire businessman or high-ranking
corporate executive. (As one activist said, it's a good thing these
businessmen weren't funding the Revolutionary War!)
*This takes its toll in many ways.* We have a friend on the West Coast
who was one of the most knowledgeable and effective pro-family activists
in America on the homosexual issue. But he realized that fundraising was
now going to take most of his time. That wasn't his strength. He finally
just gave it up and took a normal job. If that trend continues, this
movement is in big trouble. The stuff people like him have can't easily
be trained.
On the other hand, *the list of major US corporations giving money to
the radical homosexual movement is staggering.* And then there are the
wealthy individuals who regularly dole out five- and six-figure grants
to push that agenda deeper into society. That's why the homosexual
movement is so successful right now. In our observation, it's the
biggest reason.
As a result, *not only are the homosexual organizations flush with cash,
but frontline homosexual activists in every state* are funded by so many
sources that most of them wouldn't even know how to fundraise from
individuals.
On top of that, the front-line pro-family groups have never gotten the
multi-million dollar seed money to build a huge infrastructure, like the
homosexual groups, MoveOn.org, and the national Tea Party organizations.
Of course, the big national Tea Parties have a positive function, but
their libertarian big funders are certainly staying away from this issue.
*Can we reach 50, 100 or more donations by June 6?

We are changing the way we put together our MassResistance email updates.
*Currently, as with this email, we include the entire article -- text,
photos, etc.-- in the email itself.* When you open the email, you simply
read the article. It it's a long article with photos, you just scroll
down until you get to the end. There are advantages and disadvantages to
that. We think the disadvantages are getting too big.
*But starting with our next email, the emails will just have the
headlines* of the articles *which you can click* on to bring you to the
complete article posted on our website.
Here are some of the reasons we're making the change:
*1. Every email client* -- Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, AOL, etc. - reads
emails slightly differently, often ignoring some internal parts of the
underlying code or displaying them strangely. Thus, in order to get an
email to look right on everyone's email client, we have to use a very
primitive email type of underlying code.
*2. However, every web browser* - Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox,
etc. -- reads the underlying code basically the same robust way. Thus
you can have more design features on the web version.
*3. Thus we've had to create two different versions* of every article --
the email version and the website version. It's quite time-consuming. If
we just create the web version, it saves a lot of work and will look
much better.
*4. If there are some errors in the email version,* they can't be fixed
once the email is sent out. But a website version can always be fixed
and updated as necessary.
By saving time, we can publish more articles! We may still do an
occasional short article complete in the email itself if it makes sense
to do that.
