Our thanks to Rev. Philip Foster for this reminder. History tells the story
Rev. Foster alludes to. The Portuguese government recently admitted that the
Jews were banished during the Inquisition period and has welcomed them back.
Spain also banished ALL of its Jews, and there have been well documented
pogroms in Germany and elsewhere before the 20th century.
Google "pogrom" to understand this better.
On the other hand, as I mentioned in my commentary, past sins do not oblige
Christians to fight wars in the Middle East unless there is an immediate
threat to Christians, Jews or other minorities. Efforst to bring "democracy"
or "freedom" to other countries have all failed. Right now, ISIS constitutes
a real threat and our oligarchs are dragging their feet.

Re your posting about Jews needing to wake up about Christian
persecution etc.
We, as Christians, must remember that for nearly 2000 years we did NOT
wake up over Jewish persecution.
