You right, he won't be of any use other than giving people a reason take their eyes of eastenders etc for 5 minutes. 
If - and a BIG IF - he got in power he's be like all the rest.

But he can be used if we get as crafty as them.

Similar worries here regarding Farage. As they say if it's too good to be true then it probably is.
However, one good thing that is coming from it is that more people are being woken up. So don't dismiss him/them altogether. Like all politicians, he's a tool (pun intended). It's up to us to use those tools to our advantage and not theres.
