Juan Manuel Montes was the first "dreamer" or DACA student deported.  He is
23 years old, he has been living in the U.S. since he was 9 and graduated
high school here, despite some learning disabilities. He started taking
welding classes at a Southern California community college and paid for it
by picking crops in California and Arizona.

He was picked up on the street in Calexico California in February, detained
and immediately deported, without a day in court, without representation.

On Tuesday, attorneys filed appeals in his case; Juan Manuel is currently
in Mexico.

Here is the PBS Newshour  report on the case.
