intercomm. "When you have completed your tests, make
the holo-image that of a Firegon battle-wagon. All
the specs will be in the database. Let me know when
you are ready to engage the sub-mode."
On:
"Aye, sir." Emma replied, then closed the comm. She
saw Jennings smirking at her and flushed, then grinned
and shrugged, rubbing her head. Yeah, she knew she was
a klutz; maybe someday someone would find it
endearing.. then again, maybe she'd outgrow it
eventually!
Back under the console, she finished the tweaking.
This was an amazing bit of technology, and she'd been
having fun working with it, seeing what it could do
and what it could do better. Now it was time to see it
in action though. So she buttoned up the last of what
she'd been doing and started a simulation. "Oh
sweet.." she muttered to herself as she watched,
grinning.
Remembering what the Captain said, she called up the
battle-wagon specs and made the holo-image. Nasty
looking thing. After quickly double checking
everything, she was satisfied that it was all ready to
go. Tapping her commbadge, she said, "Ensign Darrow to
Bridge. We are ready to engage sub-mode now, sir."
