I haven't heard a thing from Katie, so let's assume PAS is not needed for
this event and consider it canceled. I'm sorry i lost track of time, i'm
working on posting events to the PAS site and updating the Upcoming Public
Events list I like to hand out at public events, like tomorrow's event. I
was hoping to finish this list today and get it printed for tomorrow. : )
Recall, i called her earlier today and gave her a deadline of 11am to let
me know if PAS was needed at her event. At this point, since I do not have
a Booking Doc in my hands for this event, I would say the event is NOT
Happening.
I officially say tonight's event in Payson is Cancelled, as far as PAS
Participation.
Yes, Sam, i see the error i made. But now it doesn't matter, but thanks for
the update.
And thanks for reminding me to update the Telescope Team.

I have 3 scopes ready to do this event in this order that they contacted

Sam
I just called Katie, got her voice mail at 10:15am, and asked her if she
needs the scopes. Told her I'd give her to 11am to let me know via email or
phone if she still needed the scopes, and if she does not, I wished her a
great evening. I await her reply.
So, by about 11:15 I will put out, if i don't hear from Katie by then,
another email this morning saying PAS's participation in this event has
been cancelled. So, please, hang in there about another hour for the update.

fee for under 72 hour notice to hire PAS for an event.
I figure the $300 can go to the scope, the $25 to PAS,
and the additional fee can be dropped due to the
distance and already large price to have PAS at their event.
It was some resort up there, is having the event and their telescope
person cancelled today for tomorrow's event.
I did suggest DFAC and Cottonwood astronomy clubs as they are closer, but
if she can't find someone, she will want PAS there.
So, Reply if you can do the event. I don't know what time, i dont' know
where, what you have above in this email is what i know. Our contact is
Katie and she hasn't emailed me, she called. So don't ask for additional
details. I would assume 7-9pm or 8-10pm with 1 hour set up. But i don't
know for sure. She is supposed to drop me an email lif she needs PAS there
so i can then send her the booking doc.
You know what i know.

This will also give me data as to if PAS can do the event or not, due to
the super short notice.
