RSVP is required. Here's the plans: Potluck is at 6pm Bring a main dish to share and a drink to share. Please sign up in Perfect Potluck. Thanks. The Fireworks start at Dark. http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php?do=getinfo&e=1097&day=2013-7-4&c=2 Sunset 7:30 Venus visible 7:30pm Saturn visible 7:45 Dark 8:30 - Fireworks So, the plan is, eat dinner at 6pm. If the sky is nice, we can view Venus and Saturn by about 7:30pm. The Fireworks doesn't happen until 8:30 when it gets dark. Since we are eating at 6pm, we might want to bring snacks, ice cream to share, what ever, and BYO drinks for watching the fireworks. They last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. We will be on the end of Mike's driveway to view them. So, we might want to set up our scopes prior to the start of the Fireworks, so that when we are done with the fireworks, we can do some really great dark sky viewing! Let's see everyone there! I'm looking forward to it, rain or shine. Should it rain, and the star party get canceled, or cloud over, we can do a movie night. Bring a movie to share, we will vote on the movie we watch. Have a super Weekend. Keep cool, see you on the 4th. And I need Weather Watchers... even if you aren't attending this event, send me your Weather updates around Tuesday, Wed and Thursday for this event. Thanks so very much.
