Good morning PAS Members,
I have a request from the new teacher up at BMC who would like to request a
solar scope to come to BMC on Monday Feb 6 to show the Sun through their
scope.
I heard that Sun Spots are at a minimum, but if you have a PST, the view
may be of interest to her class.
If you are interested in doing this, I figure someone with a PST could
really thrill her class.
This is volunteer. There's nothing being provided.
Lori tells me she would like the solar scope to come around 2pm. I don't
know how long she wants you to stay, so once you sign up to do this event
for her, i will hook you up with her directly.
Do we have a PST who would like to volunteer to be there for Lori's class?
At minimum a PST, but if someone wants to also do this with the Sun Spot
filter, that would be good too.
I will put this on the site after I find out if we have volunteers willing
to go up to BMC for about an hour. I'll get the exact time from Lori, when
she writes me back.
Lori is the new adjunct at PVCC. Her class is at BMC.
