I guess do, just chili to me.
I think con carne means “with meat”….which I’ve never quite understood. Never
had chili without meat…

I do, however, add beans to mine. That’s verboten to some folks (mostly in TX),
but I love it that way.
Mom did it early on to stretch our family food dollar.
I love the flavors.
Whew this is one of the best tasting batches I’ve ever made!!
7 quart pot full…I’ll be eating this for a few days, yay!!

Mine is very well seasoned, but not hot. I’d actually like it a bit hotter,
but I might give some to friends…I can skways add hot sauce at the tables…
