Hi Hal,  yes, the dark round thing in the veal picatta and pasta dish were 
capers indeed.

While down there, I finally got my sunglasses fixed...

Enjoying them today.
(Yes, I still look like a bad 70’s hippie former rock star with the hair these 
days)
