Thanks Kelly.  The doctors have just found out the cause.  Low blood platelets. 
 He will be seen by a haematologist tomorrow.  He had cancer over 5 years ago 
and radiotherapy damages the immune system.  Think one of the treatments is  
steroids.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year, and certainly one better than this 
soon to be over one.
Loved reading all your posts and seeing pics.  Our Christmas was a non 
event but won’t bore you with details, but briefly Geoffrey is in 
hospital as Christmas Eve I saw a big bruise back of his upper arm.  Since 
then his whole arm is bruised black so the medics are trying to figure out 
what has caused it.
Therefore not done any cooking, just eating leftovers and was naughty 
yesterday devouring a whole box of chocolate  florentine’s.  Have 
several boxes of mince pies to get through also.  
I will have to cook the turkey breast roast I got for Christmas so we have 
that cold if Geoffrey doesn’t get discharged today.   Might have a curry 
courtesy of M&S tonight😜
