Brexit is responsible for a lot of the issues in Britain and I’ve read so many
terrible stories of businesses going to the wall as their goods are no longer
competitive in the EU. Just need to get rid of Boris.

Oh no, didn’t realise so many shortages there. We are ok here though prices
are creeping up. Think any shortages here are being blamed on Brexit with all
the chaos with haulers delivering due backups crossing the Channel.
All restrictions being lifted here, not necessary to wear masks, crowds
allowed in clubs, events etc.without a Covid passport, not necessary to work
from home . I certainly won’t stop wearing a mask. Think this is a ploy to
take the heat off Boris and Partygate. Wish the UK would take things as
seriously as OZ and a lot of other countries,
When I shop I go as soon as the stores open to avoid people.

I know some parts of US have some empty shelves, but for the most part here
where I live, you’d not know there’s a pandemic.
It’s pretty much moved into endemic stage here…
Shelves 98% stocked.
We’re planning to have Mardi Gras again at this point.
I need to go hit Costco…
I’ve not been grocery shopping since flying to Moms for Christmas…
But I do have a veggie box delivery tomorrow, along with new puppy!!

Hi Justin, glad you tried it. Can understand your not having coconut oil or
coconut vinegar….not something we use often and I had never heard of coconut
vinegar till Susan mentioned it, I used rice wine vinegar for my second
attempt as had run out of just plain old white vinegar which I used first go
and that tasted better actually, Next time am going to try coconut milk as
really do enjoy this dish. Wish I could source fresh bay leaves. Had such a
hard time finding dried ones today at several stores.
