[overture] Overture Error...

Dr. Henshaw,
I am getting the following error when I try to make overture:
HDF_DataBase.C:2965: error: 'DFTAG_VG' was not declared in this scope
HDF_DataBase.C:2965: error: 'Hnumber' was not declared in this scope
HDF_DataBase.C:2966: error: 'DFTAG_VS' was not declared in this scope
HDF_DataBase.C:2967: error: 'DFTAG_SD' was not declared in this scope
HDF_DataBase.C:2968: error: 'DFTAG_SDG' was not declared in this scope
HDF_DataBase.C:2969: error: 'DFTAG_WILDCARD' was not declared in this scope

Also, should I be doing make -j2 since I have a core 2 duo? Or, should I
just use make?
