Does AFB American Foundation for the Blind have a contact for braille writer
repair? Seems like being in New York, they would provide at least referral
service for that kind of thing.

Well until I can get my computer set up I won't be able to share music. But if
it's some fine it will work with a Mac that might be good. Then I might be able
to hear music but I'm not really sure how to do it. And I might be able to get
some of the albums that I've lost two. And I've lost quite a few of them. Well
I thought things only break in threes but I guess for me it's number four. Now
it's the braille writer. I want to write down my credit card number in braille
and all the keys on my braille writer stop no matter what age I did. No I've
got to send it out. So actually I have to find somebody that can help me pack
it up and address it because I'm either going to send it to the American
printing House for the blind or to help press for repairs. If I send it to the
American printing House for cleaning and whatever it's $150. But if I send it
to Perkins or could be more could be less. The boy things happen at a very
inopportune time. I want to my class last night but a lot of it was visual.
Actually they were using voltmeters and stuff to measure different things and
of course I couldn't do it because I didn't have any talking meters. But that's
OK. And then I was worried about the braille writer and I forgot to call my
friend to tell him I was going to the class and I just left so hopefully he's
not going to be mad at me. I'll have to talk to him later and let him know that
I just had a lot of my mind. This morning I went shopping and got all that done
and came home and my knees were talking to me. My worker put everything away
and now she's downstairs doing the sheets. Actually I put a lot of the
perishables away and I put some of it away that she had to finish it. I told
her I was sorry about that but my knees just wouldn't let me finish it. I lay
down for a while and that was it. And I also got some money back on my energy
rebate. In the store people weren't going to give me the whole amount but then
they decided to. So I'm really happy I got my shopping done and everything is
all done and I'm sure glad it's over.

IfNancy’s idea takes hold and all can utilize it, the Wayner might just come
back into the fold! That would be awesome. I think we’d all love to be able
to share music again.

I think that was part of it. He said the list was turning into a chat group
but I told him we still share music from time to time as well as
blindness-related articles.

Was it the high volume of traffic that caused him to leave in the first
place? Devon.

Hi, Karen,
I'll see if I can talk him into coming back. That would sure be neat if he
could.

Hi, everyone,
I talked to Wayne on the phone and he said to tell everyone hello. I don't
know if he'll come back to the list or not. I'm trying to get him to though.
