I have contacted Freelists and hope they will get back to me soon. There
are some commands that are good for users, but it got to where I was not
even allowed to view the users list and couldn't do anything for any of the
users that they couldn't do themselves, and there are some features that
aren't very accessible with screen readers. I hope this will mean this
group's gone by at least Monday. In the meantime, you can always
unsubscribe, and don't forget to reply to the confirmation message so
you'll really be unsubscribed.
To unsubscribe from the old Ourplace list, send a blank e-mail to
ourplace-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
with Unsubscribe in subject line. Then, when you get the confirmation
message, just reply and send without doing anything to the message, and
it'll then unsubscribe you.

You don't necessarily have to, but this would prevent getting messages
from the old group. I just need to contact them and have the old group
taken down. I need to find where to do that.
