ARREST MADE IN FIGHT THAT INVOLVED MIGOS AND SEAN KINGSTON LAS VEGAS
(AP) Police say a fight involving Migos and Sean Kingston outside a
fashion show on the Las Vegas Strip has resulted in one arrest after a
shot was fired into the air. Police say no one was injured in the fight
that happened Tuesday afternoon. Records show 28-year-old Mioses
Johnson of West Palm Beach, Florida, has been charged with assault with
a weapon, illegal discharge of a gun and carrying a firearm without a
permit. Police say Johnson was part of a group accompanying Kingston,
and the fight followed an argument stemming from a previous dispute
involving Migos and Kingston. ROADIE KILLED AFTER AVENGED
SEVENFOLD/DISTURBED SHOW UNDATED (AP) Avenged Sevenfold and Disturbed
are extending their condolences to a roadie who was killed after their
show in Stuttgart, Germany, on Monday. Avenged Sevenfold write on their
website a 26-year-old stagehand was breaking down their stage when he
fell from the rafters onto a 19-year-old man on the local crew. The
19-year-old was killed and the 26-year-old is in critical condition.
Avenged Sevenfold say the incident is "beyond heartbreaking. Disturbed
say "this horrible tragedy is almost too much to bear" and they
dedicate the rest of the tour to "our fallen brothers. CHRIS BROWN
EXPLAINS WHY THE FIGHT WITH SOULJA BOY IS OFF UNDATED (AP) Chris Brown
says he bowed out of the boxing match with Soulja Boy because it was "a
legit thing on a positive scale" but "all the wrong people got in the
way. Brown and Soulja Boy had planned to go three rounds in a
pay-per-view event to settle an online feud. Soulja Boy said Brown's
manager told his manager that Brown would not sign the contract. Brown
posted an Instagram video in which he says "the middleman people" and
"the homies" got "in the way because they wanted a piece of the pie.
SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME PASSES OVER GEORGE MICHAEL NEW YORK (AP) The
Songwriters Hall of Fame nominating committee was not feeling a soft
spot for the late George Michael when coming up with who would be
inducted. Michael was nominated but did not make the cut. However, Jay
Z will be the first rapper to be inducted. Babyface and Jimmy Jam and
Terry Lewis will be inducted. So will Robert Lamm, Jimmy Pankow
(PAN'-koh) and Peter Cetera of the band Chicago. Berry Gordy was
supposed to be inducted last year but deferred to this year. Max
Martin, who wrote "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)" for the
Backstreet Boys, "...Baby One More Time" for Britney Spears and The
Weeknd's "Can't Feel My Face," will be honored as well. The inductions
