It did affect me. One trivial thing I remember was that there wasn't any
rock and roll on the radio anywhere, except for one station in Lake Charles,
which at the time was KLOU. I could only hear them at night.

Oh Gary, I'll bet the asassination of President Kennedy must have hit you
hard
even though you were quite young. My brother Doug had just turned 8 at that
time (November 19th) and even at that age, he commented that for the rest of
his
life he would remember that birthday sadly as being associated with the
Kennedy
asassination. I remember it hit me hard but didn't see any of the TV
coverage
until several days later as I succumbed to a virus of some sort that night
and
over the weekend.
