Wow, yes, certainly stress can bring on seizures, and although I don’t quite
know what pericardia is, I gather it has something to do with the heart. It
sounds as though Tony is rather fragile health wise, and I pray that things go
a whole lot better for him.

No Linda, thank God, he is not diabetic. However, he is epileptic and after
Karen’s death last year, he had seizures until around September. They were not
grand mall, but they were still seizures just the same. They call them petty
mall. Then he also had pericardia last year where there was fluid around his
heart. So, he’s definitely been through a rough year and also falling early
last summer just after Karen passed away and hurting his broken leg again. So
all we can do is pray.

Vickie, I certainly feel for both Tony and Linda, and I’m very sad she indeed
has cancer. I can understand why Tony isn’t wanting to get close to women who
potentially have health problems especially given the fact that he has possibly
a major health problem regarding his kidneys. He’s not diabetic, is he?
Praying especially for him that his kidney tests go well in late April.

Subject: [ourplace] Update on my brother Tony's friend Linda
Tony called me this morning. He said that the bronchiole oncologists team of
20 doctors have reviewed her file and concluded that she does in fact have
cancer in her right lung in the upper lobe. So, since the lymph nodes are also
looking infected, they are requesting a PET test be done to see just where the
cancer has metastasized. I guess that test will also show them whether the
cancer is small cell or not. At this point they are calling it a carcinoma.
Then they can decide how they will collect a biopsy, unless it has spread to
far in her body. She won’t go to Ann Arbor where she could get the test
quicker, but prefers to get it in her home town hospital. So, she won’t be
getting the Pet test until April 11th. She wants to be near Tony and be there
when he performs this weekend and through the month of April. So, here we go
again. Tony is at this point giving up on being close to any women, saying
everyone he gets with dies from cancer. So, he had rehearsal today, and is
trying to keep busy while time passes and the cancer grows. So, that’s all I
know at this point. He won’t know about his kidney situation until late April.
Of course, I told him it’s not his fault that he is involved with people who
get cancer. But, that because it was in our family, God is making him strong,
so he can endure the emotional pain that goes along with it. Take care.
