Well I'm waiting for this book to come out that I want by this author named
Paul Auster. Actually I came out on the 17th but it's in iBooks. And I'm really
not sure how much it cost and I'm not sure if it's an audio yet. So I'll have
to wait and see how long the library drags his feet to get it. It's futuristic
science fiction which I like. But we'll just have to see how long that takes.
But I know at some point I'd like to get somebody to put the entire Genesis
library on CD for me or something. So we'll have to see how that goes. But I
know that we can still use snow leopard for some stuff. Anyway this gentleman
where we go for class may help me set up my computer but I'm not holding my
breath on it. You know how so I did people promised the moon and then nothing
happens. Oh well what can I say. But anyway as far as Hadley goes there ham
radio course is no longer around. It left in the 70s. Also handy hams their
instructor retired and they don't have any teacher either. So the blind or left
out and my friend it's in the class with me who is also blind wrote to the ARL
and asked him asked them I should say if they had any licensing materials in
audio format and they never even wrote him back and I thought that was kind of
rude if you ask me. I mean I just could've wrote back and said well we're sorry
we don't have anything but he didn't get any response I think that's kind of
crazy. And I also think that's kind of rude as well.

Hi Kathleen,
I think the thing about Open Drive and the Mac is that you have to have the
right generation of Mac machine in order for it to work. I think you and
Marty
both have mac machines that are too old for compatibility with Open Drive
software, which is a darned shame. It is possible that you might be able to
download albums onto your I-Phone, but given that you only have a 16 gig
phone,
that might not hold a whole lot of music.
Also, I'm sure one could upload or download books. After all, John sent the
book about Papa John Phillips and put it onto Open Drive using a public link.
I
wouldn't be surprised if people wanted to put up seasons of TV programs and
the
like. I have access to the entire "Touched By An Angel" show, all nine
seasons
of it, which I'd love to share if there's interest once I get it. A friend
sharing a Dropbox folder with me has it.
