I think the thing about Open Drive and the Mac is that you have to have the
right generation of Mac machine in order for it to work. I think you and Marty
both have mac machines that are too old for compatibility with Open Drive
software, which is a darned shame. It is possible that you might be able to
download albums onto your I-Phone, but given that you only have a 16 gig phone,
that might not hold a whole lot of music.
Also, I'm sure one could upload or download books. After all, John sent the
book about Papa John Phillips and put it onto Open Drive using a public link. I
wouldn't be surprised if people wanted to put up seasons of TV programs and the
like. I have access to the entire "Touched By An Angel" show, all nine seasons
of it, which I'd love to share if there's interest once I get it. A friend
sharing a Dropbox folder with me has it.
