Hi Rick, to go from your reciever to the computer, you just need patch
cords with 3.5 MM stereo jacks on one end, to go in to the line input of
your sound card, and RCA jacks on the other end for your reciever. As I
said, I have my computer in the tape monitor loop, so I can play and
record with the PC, just as if it were a tape deck. I have never seen
those stand alone burners with a turntable, but I would imagine it would
be a compramize at best, and you would be forced to burn CD's even if all
you wanted to do was to put the material on your hard drive. If you
already have a good turntable, chances are it's a hell of alot better
than any stand alone unit!
