Nance,
I’m thinking I may need you to help me undo an apparent mess I created when I
tried to subscribe to open drive after installing it yesterday. I sent my
“subscribe” email without switching to my “userlists” email account. Instead of
getting a return message asking me to confirm my intentions of subscribing, I
got one stating that you had been notified, because the system didn’t recognize
my wokwest email account as belonging to a member of the Our Place list. I
switched to my “userlists” email account then, but got no request for
confirmation back. Thanks in advance for your help. Thanks also for your
response (below) to this morning’s nuggets.

Thanks for the nuggets as usual.
Only R. Dean Taylor song I remember hearing was Indiana Wants Me, in either
late 70 or earlier 71--think it was the latter.

We're celebrating President's Day with five more nuggets. As usual, the Dropbox
link comes first. And I should let you know that at my end, there is a period
before the zip extension in the Dropbox link. But if you get an error message
as many did last week, you'll want to see if that dot has somehow disappeared,
and at a period if necessary. As I said, the Dropbox link comes first; then,
the track list.

01 Bob Seger - Come to poppa
I think this was an album track that wasn't made into a single for Seger and
his Silver Bullet Band.
02 Poco - You Better Think Twice
Poco is the group Randy Meisner helped to found after he left The Eagles.
03 R. Dean Taylor - Window Shopping (1974)
I don't think this was a hit in the U. S. I heard it on a British station and
liked it quite a bit. The only R. Dean Taylor hit here - and it wasn't a big
one- was called "Got to Find Jane" if I remember right.
04 Trini Lopez, America (1963)
I don't recall hearing this one in 63, but I certainly appreciate the
arrangement now.
05 Bill Cosby routine about grandparents
It's hard to believe. But next week takes February out of here, and brings in
March. Be back for more nuggets if you can next Monday.
