post about WPLB, the station known as mid century radio. That station's also
available via OO Tunes for those of us with new generation Victor Reader
Streams. Once an OO Tunes search is initiated, finding this one's as simple
as searching for WPLB.

Hi Walt, r dean taylor had a hit as far back as 1966, which was called at
our high school dance, but his first big hit was from September, 1970 called
Indiana wants me, and then, in about January or February, 1971, came his
second hit which wasn't nearly as big as indiana wants me called gotta see
jane. Thanks for this week's nuggets.

I think this was an album track that wasn't made into a single for Seger and
his Silver Bullet Band.
02 Poco - You Better Think Twice
Poco is the group Randy Meisner helped to found after he left The Eagles.
03 R. Dean Taylor - Window Shopping (1974)
I don't think this was a hit in the U. S. I heard it on a British station
and liked it quite a bit. The only R. Dean Taylor hit here - and it wasn't a
big one- was called "Got to Find Jane" if I remember right.
04 Trini Lopez, America (1963)
I don't recall hearing this one in 63, but I certainly appreciate the
arrangement now.
05 Bill Cosby routine about grandparents
It's hard to believe. But next week takes February out of here, and brings
