Hi, Kathleen,
You were wise to unplug the microwave. Yes, you possibly could have had a
fire if you kept it plugged in.

Well my microwave decided to go out. And it went out in a very strange way.
I was sitting in the living room talking to a friend of mine on the phone
and all of a sudden I heard the microwave turn on. I didn't even touch it or
anything. It turned on all by itself. Then I turned it off. Anyway it kept
turning on by itself and I finally had to get it unplugged and I just got
rid of it. A friend of mine told me I could've had a fire in my apartment if
I would've kept it plugged in i'm not sure if I can justify the cost of the
talking microwave because I'm not really sure how big it is or anything.
Especially since a lot of these companies that sell stuff for the blind
inflate the price is. And I really don't think that's right either.

Thanks for letting us know how you like your microwave. This big Sears
one I have will probably go out one day, and I just might get one of
those. One question: What's T M O ? Is that a brand name or what?
