No, but most binding issues I’ve had are because the receiver is to close to
transmitter. If your to close sometimes it works and sometimes no. So try
separating them about 3 ft. All a bind plug does is short the signal to the
negative pin (ground).

except plugging (and unplugging) them into the receiver or, for that matter,

and not with other bind plugs?
