You can plug a servo extension cable into the receiver and plug the binding
plug into that. Or, you can use a Y harness so you have a free end for the
binding plug and not use up a slot on the receiver. Using a servo cable makes
it far easier to insert & remove the binding plug.

Paul, have not had any problems with bind plugs on any Spektrum receiver –
except plugging (and unplugging) them into the receiver or, for that matter,
any servo lead into the receiver. Super tight fit.

Anyone ever had older Spektrum receivers that would bind with some bind plugs
and not with other bind plugs?
Are their differences in the plugs, or am I just losing it?
