The May 2022 issue of Model Aviation had an article on RC Combat. The E1000
class looks like cheap fun. One plane consists of only a few parts -- three
pieces that are 3D printed, two 12” dowels, a sheet of Dollar store foam board
and some bits and pieces to hold hold things together. Just add a motor and
electronics and start flying.
