The MOS document "Naming Of RAC ONE NODE Instances Across RAC Nodes (Doc ID
2063599.1)" might describe this behavior:
- there is no correlation between the instance name and the node it runs one
- The instance suffix will not change if the database is stopped and then
restarted - even if it is started on a different node
- the instance name only changes during a relocation operation
