I think Streams is not supported after 11gR2, though

Not exactly, as you can also get Windows - that probably does not help though.

 

As already suggested, GoldenGate would be a good option.

 

Streams would also work (and is not extra co$t) , but significantly more work 
is involved in configuring Streams as opposed to GG.
