install cpan dbd::mysql inside oracle perl

I'm trying install dbd::mysql inside oracle perl, but always got this
when run cpan...
make: Fatal error: Don't know how to make target
`/build/001/perl/bin/Solaris/Opt/lib/5.8.3/i86pc-solaris-thread-multi/CORE/config.h'
I have migration project from mysql to oracle. my planning... use perl
script, so no temporary files generated during migration.... tables
quite big ... around 300G in mysql
any idea?
