We lost a whole install of Precise 7.1 due to a disk crashed which was
ASSUMED to be mirrored and low and behold was not. I had to purge all
the software directories, Precise users, etc.
Symantec brought over the brand new 7.5 and we were totally up and
running on 7 databases, collecting data, in about 2 hours. 7.5 is
supposed to have all the patches.
So far, so good.

we have veritas i3.
back from when it was precise.
it was decent tool till they released 6.0 and tried the web based rap.
it worked out so bad that half of our install base stopped using it.
and once it got bought by veritas the support was horrible during the
integration.
i've heard they've fixed all the problems in version 7 i believe. but
they lost half of our installs in the process.

oem 10.2 grid control does most of what you want.
we just purchase d foglight and quest central both are excellent
tools to manage monitor and analyze the database
